Very little is known about Franz(?) Wolf, including when he was born and died. He was a clarinet virtuoso and composer for the instrument. He is known to have been a musician with the Hohenlohe Prussian Regiment in 1797. Two Serenata for sextet are listed together with 2 quintets for 2 clarinets, 2 horns and bassoon.
